OBJECTIVE'S SELANGOR TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING DEPARTMENT

1. To strengthen the physical, social and economic development of urban and rural areas to improve their standard of living in line with the objectives of the state and country;
2. To regulate , control and coordinate the development, usage and preservation of land through effective  implementation of Town  and Rural Planning Act and other related Acts;
3. To implement and ensure effective application of planning methods, policy, plan and guideline by all agencies at all planning levels; and
4. To be the major consultant in urban and rural planning to State Government and Local Authority.
